Good to know

Before you go

🎟️
Park entrance not included
Los Glaciares National Park entrance fee is paid at the gate. Price varies by season and nationality. Activities (Safari, Minitrekking) are booked on-site separately.
👟
What to wear
Warm layers, waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes. Glacier wind is strong and weather changes fast. In summer also bring sunscreen.
🌡️
Best time to visit
The glacier is open all year round. Summer (Dec–Feb) offers more daylight. In winter the blue ice is more intense and there are fewer tourists.
📸
What the visit is like
Wooden walkways lead you to multiple viewpoints right in front of the ice. You may witness glacier calving — the sound is breathtaking.
🚌
Why private vs tourist bus
Tourist buses carry 40+ people with fixed schedules. With us you leave and return when you want, with no waiting for anyone else. Often similar price for 2–4 people.

Transfer only: ARS 150,000 cash (approx. USD 130), round trip with waiting time. With Nautical Safari (1h): ARS 190,000. With Blue Safari (3h + whisky): ARS 210,000. With Minitrekking: ARS 190,000. All prices per vehicle, not per person — up to 4 passengers.
The drive takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes (80 km via Provincial Route 11, partly inside Los Glaciares National Park). The full excursion (there + visit + back) lasts between 4 and 7 hours depending on the activity.
No. Los Glaciares National Park entrance is paid directly at the park gate and is not included in the transfer price. The same applies to activities like Nautical Safari, Blue Safari and Minitrekking — these are booked and paid separately with the park operators.
The Nautical Safari is a 1-hour navigation right in front of the glacier wall — you sail very close and can touch the ice. The Blue Safari is 3 hours navigating around the glacier from multiple angles, including whisky or Calafate liqueur with real glacier ice. If it's your first time, we strongly recommend the Blue Safari.
Yes. Minitrekking is designed for people with no prior ice trekking experience. A specialist guide accompanies you throughout and teaches you how to walk with crampons. You only need basic fitness and appropriate footwear.
Yes, Perito Moreno Glacier is open 365 days a year. Summer (December–February) offers more daylight and warmer temperatures. In winter the blue of the ice is more intense and there are fewer tourists. There is no bad time to visit.
Tourist buses carry 40–50 people with fixed schedules — they don't wait if you want to stay longer. With private transfer: you leave and return on your schedule, the vehicle is exclusively yours, you can stop at viewpoints on the way, and for 2–4 people the final price is often similar or lower than the bus.

Born in El Calafate · Knows every stop on the road to the glacier

I have driven to Perito Moreno hundreds of times. I know exactly where the first glimpse of ice appears on Route 11, where to stop for the best photos, and when to leave to beat the morning crowds at the walkways.

"The glacier will impress you no matter what. What I can do is make sure the experience of getting there, spending the day, and coming back is as good as the glacier itself."
